Re: swap fill and stroke shortcut

Hi Fillotassi, it'S been a while since this post but there's an option for that:

select an object, then right click on the little color and stroke view (left bottom screen) and select 'swap fill and stroke' from the popup.

Hope this helps!

Re: make a screenshot from canvas

Brynn thanks for the explanation though it would be for temporarely use and I need it to see the progress over days/weeks.

Maestral, It's about the same amount of clicks (adjust size and name to not copy over the former one) but will give it a try.

Thanks for the feedback guys!

make a screenshot from canvas

Hi there, I take a lot of screenshots while illustrating, just to see the progress and now I'm using the screenshot-app from Mint but it's quite anoying having to start it up the whole time etc. I also don't want to take a shot of the whole computer screen and then paste etc. because I just need the...

Re: swap fill and stroke shortcut

Hi Lazur URH! Thanks, though that seems like an extention that you have to activate form a menu. I'm more just looking for a shortcut on keyboard to activate the Swap Fill and Stroke of an object. The only way to do it now is left-click on the fill and stroke style indicator (left bottom) and then c...

Re: pattern along path always black

*update* Found it out, but kind of weird. When you copy shape to the clipboard it will always be black, when you want to color it before drawing the pattern on path you have to select the STROKE color and it will be that color when you draw it. BUT when you want to change color after it is drawn the...

Re: Approval Process For New Users

yes I noted that but i couldn remember the word so wrote 'letters in scrambled image' :) It took more then a week before my 2 posts were placed so can imagine you must be busy especially filtering out the spam. Just some brainstorming here, but maybe you can let users write a special word in the beg...

swap fill and stroke shortcut

Hi,

Is there a way to add a shortcut to swap fill and stroke?
I use it a lot so that would be realy welcome. I know you can add shortcuts to the xml but then you seem to also have to program in other docs and I don't have any experiance with that.

thanks!

Re: Approval Process For New Users

just an idea but if you mean spam by machines then you could fix a 'check' field for responses? Like the ones you have when joining the forum with 'proof you'r human!' or writing the letter showed in the scrambled image.

[solved] pattern along path always black

Hi guys, I'm on Inkscape 0.48.4 r9939 on Linux Mint 16 and have a question about pen-tool with pattern along path effect. I do this: - draw a red symbol and copy it - select pencil and select 'shape from clipboard'. - then i draw a line, the shape is there but it's black. weird part: when I go a ste...
