Those are amazing! Thanks so much for sharing!
They look like deceptively simple objects, but once you're through the tutorials you realize that they teach you a lot about the mechanics of Inkscape, and can be applied to a quite varied range of effects. So thanks!

On the new layout
I really, really like the new little introduction thing at the top! Nice work! :D But I also really, really dislike the extra boxes to the right. :( They make the whole index look cramped, not to mention inconsistent with the other parts of the forum. Can't you just have a "Latest posts" a...

Re: Handy programs to help with Inkscape work
Whooo! Thanks for the programs guys! :D Especially the color pickers! My problem is that I have a real old laptop that no longer displays colors quite so correctly, so it gives me all sorts of headaches when I view results on a "proper" screen. XP (skin tones become an ugly brown, contrast...

Re: An anime tutorial
Thanks! :D That's one of the things I like about Inkscape: vector is a relatively new domain for most people (including me), so you discover new tricks left and right all the time (with raster, it would have been dismissed as "everybody knows that XP ). Add to that the fact that Inkscape adds n...

Re: Inkscape 0.46 Features...
I'm looking forward to bucket, touch selection And blend modes. Inkscape releases always bring so much eh? :D Apart from that I'd really like to get a perspective grid or this feature here (perspective/warp envelope) eventually. I'd also like something that acts like mask except that it keeps transp...

Error messages after posting
Every time I post I get this:
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]
Incorrect key file for table './inkscapeforum/phpbb_search_wordlist.MYI'; try to repair it [126]
The post Does submit correctly, so it's a minor nuisance, but it's still a but. ^^

Re: avocado by pipo
I'm impressed! That's a mighty fine-looking avocado! Any plans on making an English version of the tutorial? Judging from your german tutorial, it seems that it's a technique that will benefit from the future introduction of the bucket too as well. I suggest adding a bit more varia...

An anime tutorial
I've just completed one recently! It's a multi-part, so follow the links in the comments section: http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/57134905/ Keep in mind that I did the whole tutorial in a way I think would let friends of mine have all they need to complete an example such as the one I provided, ...
