Abby

Hello! 173726078 Description from deviantART: For my wife. :) This is our cat Abby. She absolutely loves this weird rubber ball we got her. Nine times out of ten, if we can't find it anywhere, it's under the couch. When we fish the ball out from under there, Abby FLIPS out in excitement. Seriously, ...

Re: Vectopus

Thanks for the comments :)

Yeah, the shirt itself was a template provided by deviantART. The logo thing doesn't bother me too much (at least for now).

Ps. I love Spiro paths so much. And the smoothing option on the pencil. They are so useful.

A couple wallpapers.

Here are two wallpapers that I made for the EVGA Wallpaper Contest that just ended today. I didn't win, but oh well. It was fun. Ps. I only entered the graffiti one, since only one entry was allowed. 133984242 133983770 The wallpaper contest is here (along with the winning wallpapers and prizes): ht...

116546425 Just a quickie. I was bored at work and decided to mess around with a .47 build. I made the banana by putting a shape like this... http://img242.imageshack.us/img242/3212/shape.png ...on a spiro path (smoothing was about 30) with the pencil tool. That results in something like this: http:...

Bombtastic! Artwork

Hi guys (and gals), I've got a couple of things that I've worked on for the past little while. I'm working on a game called "Bombtastic!" for the Zune that is quite similar to Bomberman by Hudson Soft. So far, all of the artwork and animations have been done with Inkscape. Here's some of m...

Re: Bombtastic! Logo

Sorry I didn't reply to your comment. I've been busy programming/creating the art/music/everything for this game. To answer your question: I drew the letters manually, then combined them into one path (not a group..I used "Path" -> "Combine"). Then I went to "Path" -> &...

On a side note, all graphics in this game have been made with Inkscape .46, including the animations. Older youtube video here: http://w...

Re: Orange IIe

Thanks for the comments! I love getting feedback of all forms. Yeah, the keyboard is definitely an odd looking one. ;) I chose to do it that way because it was the easiest method I could think of for creating tons of keys at slightly different angles. I didn't really want to spend too much time on t...

This is D'Edd. He (and the rest of the wallpaper) took probably an hour to complete.

Awesome looking orchid! It's amazing what one can do with a handful of shapes and gradients.

I had a look at your site. It has some great information. I'm surprised I never stumbled upon it while searching for Inkscape tutorials...They are few and far between.

Re: tips on making sphere/orb/ball

I like what you've done. As you can see from the tutorials below, orbs/spheres can be made using various techniques. It really comes down to your specific tastes. Just like microUgly said, there are a bunch of different factors that determine how an object will end up. All I can say is use your best...

Re: Orange IIe

Thanks microUgly. Yeah, that keyboard was a PAIN! I'm glad I had cloned tiles. Still had to tweak them all a bunch though. I remember there was this great physics game for the Apple IIe where you could drop things like bowling/tennis/soccer/ping pong/whatever balls and see how they bounced etc. Good...

Made this in a few days.. Description from da: This little project sort of branched off of a font that I made here with FontStruct: [link] Obviously it is modeled after the Apple IIe. It's not EXACT.
