I read on some of the forums about scribus that sometimes this warning can be ignored. As a matter of fact, it does work most of the time.

Hello Thank you for your answer. I tried to unlink clones. It does not help. As for the pattern, I do move the pattern with the pattern handles so the gap does not show in Inkscape. But it shows in scribus and in openoffice!...And as my logo will be used in Open office and scribus and screen applica...
