I am creating a font and I have a symbol for missing glyphs. When I type text into "Preview Text," where I put a space, My "Missing Glyph" shows up. Is there a way to put in a blank glyph for spaces? I tried adding a glyph, leaving the page blank, clicking "Get curves from selection" and typing a space in the glyph name. That didn't work.
Or will spaces work properly in an actual application of the font when done?
I'm very excited to be making a new font and don't want it ruined by symbols every time One types a space.
Thank You to Any who can assist!

I was able to add a space into the field and have my curve be used as a space. Probably one can remove the curve later? Not sure.
As for the 'missing character' - which unicode would that be? Here's a discussion that may be useful: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/137 ... -character
