I have an image of a man that I have copied 7 times. I would like to merge all these to one image. If I select two of them with the "edit path nodes" tool and then choose union one of the images gets all distorted. Is there a way to merge them all to one shape?

So you select all seven guys, do a union and only one of the seven becomes distorted? That seems strange. I think I would have to see the file to figure out why.

Alternatively, you could use "Combine" instead of union. It is different, but the difference may not matter depending on the effect you are after. You could also group them instead of creating a Union.

Thanks for your reply. Actually nothing happened if I selected all 7 guys, but when I selected two and choose union, it distorted one of them. Maybe I did something wrong. I found a solution that worked for me though. I exported the image as a bitmap, imported it and traced it.
