Heraldry Set for Inkscape

Postby Zyankali » Fri Aug 31, 2007 6:19 pm

Heyho,
Everywhere you can see those medieval symbols and ornaments. Since these become more and more popular I decided to gather some of these symbols and make them available for inkscape users.

» Here « you can find a set with over 70 Heraldic Brushes for Inkscape.
I took them from here and simply traced them in Inkscape. I hope you like them. Feel free to use them however you like it.

If this is really public domain, Open Clip Art Library would be a great place to store them ;-)

The thought crossed my mind too, but since the author of that site doesnt seem to have a clue what public domain means I wasnt overly confident.
They state its all PD then in the next sentence say you cant use it for commercial purpose, sell it or include it in any clipart collections. doesnt sound like public domain to me...
