How to move transparent object?

Postby Pixie » Sun May 27, 2018 8:59 am

I created a transparent rect (for the purpose of creating an HTML hyperlink around a shape).

How do I move it around?

When I try, the image that is beneath is selected and moves. The rect stays in place. I try both selecting with the mouse (bounding box is seen) and selecting the object from the list.

If I un-transperize it (increase opacity >0), the fill and stroke become visible and I can move it without a problem.

I'm sure there's a very easy solution to this...

Hi

Hold down the ALT key and click on the outline (Marching Ants) to drag the object
Good Luck!
