Inkscape tutorials on YouTube

Postby heathenx » Fri Jun 08, 2007 8:12 am

Ricard Querin and I are putting together a new website dedicated (for now) to high quality Inkscape screencasts. Until then, one can view our low quality tutorials on YouTube. There are many others as well.

i have browsed your tutorials before! great work....

i like the lightsabre one - especially your justification on why you would want to draw a lightsabre - that was gold!

keep up the good work!

ok, it's live. http://screencasters.heathenx.org

like i've said before. our website is a little rough around the edges. if streaming gives you fits then try downloading the episodes straight to your hard drive for offline viewing. and if you have any problem whatsoever, email richard. :D

I haven't watched a video yet, but I really like the presentation of the site. Nice large images for each tutorial works really well.

okay heathenx, i have one question, one suggestion and a comment :P

Question: do you mind if i use the stills (the screenshot in the monitor) for each tutroial when i submit it on inkscapetutorials.wordpress.com?

Suggestion: Would it be possible to display how large each video is before choosing to stream it? its just that some people have download limits and such... :P

Comment: The site looks awesome! love the little intro before each video, and love high quality videos over youtube!

take whatever you want. :)

yes, it is possible. we are already working on the avi's this very minute and we have added the file size. rfquerin is doing all of the work...for once.

love the little intro before each video

that was rfquerin's doing, using blender. rather impressed with it myself.
