[solved] Using the filter effects in .46

I see the filter effects, but what do you have to do to get them to work?

Each filter has a checkbox. Select an object or several objects and enable a checkbox for a particular filter. Does it help? ;-)

When you open up the Filter effects dialog (you don't have to have an object selected yet) its nice to firstly expand the dialog by dragging down the bottom border so you can see better all the boxes.

Then click the New button. Youll get filter1 with its checkbox appear.

Expand the bottom right drop-down menu to choose your effect, then click Add effect.

After that you'll get filter options displayed, you may need to expand the dialog again to see the top option box more clearly.

Now you just draw and select an object and tick the checkbox next to the filter you want to use
just hand over the chocolate and nobody gets hurt

I am using the dev version from Dec 23 and nothing seems to happen in realtime to an object when I select and add and then carry what I think is a filter effect. I tried saving and then closing, then reopening the same file and nothing appears to have changed.

Its still a work in progress but this is about the best documentation you'll find for the filter ui so far I think...
