find that font. write your text. create a drop shadow. that's it.

I looked for that font over the net but could never find it which is why I thought that maybe some special drawing tool must have created it, any leads/advice on how to find that font?

I think I have an idea, now that I know it is a font style I am seeking, I will send an email to fonts.com and ask them which font it is, thank you very much!

WhatTheFont identified El Greco as a close match for the font--it's not the same, but close. Most fonts aren't free, so if you want the same or similar font, you may be paying for it.

I was told it's "calligraphy" but I tried using the Calligrapher option in Notepad and it's not the same so I'm still stuck.

Do you really need the exact same font? There are plenty of (free) calligraphic fonts out there that will provide the same general effect. Take a look at this website.
