The website/news RSS seems to be missing. I get a good ole fashioned 404 error.

yeah, this is a known issue with the inkscape news RSS...

there is talk of switching the inkscape website over to drupal after the 0.46 release. so this will probably be fixed when that occurs...

Strange. It's working for me now. Just to confirm, the URL is rss/recent.xml
