Interpolation color grading not working.

Postby Kaiju » Tue Nov 12, 2019 5:09 am

Hey guys. I follow all the steps to do a color grading interpolation, just like this:

but it comes out like this:

I'm following all the steps at the same time as the videos, any idea why isn't working? Rectangles, circles, stars come out fine, only text isn't working.

Check to see if you are applying to a group! Also, what method are you using, and are you trying to do something with the tweak tool or is that screenshot not relevant to your question?
Your mind is what you think it is.

Maybe you are going for this effect?

Yes Druban, that's exactly the effect I'm going for. I followed the steps of the video above, and can't achieve that effect. May be an option in one of my main menus or preferences that's checked or unchecked? 2 days ago was working fine. The video from which I followed the steps is this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MuDDJfQfaYY and 2 days ago following that same tutorial was working. I mean in the example above i place it sideways to show it better but I'm doing your example.

The settings are there in my screenshot. The theme you are using and the low resolution of your screenshot makes it impossible to see your settings. Convert the text to paths, ungroup, and then combine all the letters into a single path. Duplicate this path and move it into position for the end path. Before calling the extension you should have these two paths selected, nothing else. I don't know what's in the tutorial but if this is not how they tell you to do it then it's not a very good tutorial.
