Inkscape on macOS Catalina 10.15
After a recent update of my MacBook to macOS Catalina 10.15, Inkscape does not run anymore. It says Inkscape needs to be updated in order to run on this version of macOS. Can you help? I desperately need to make a few drawings for clients!

I believe the 1.0alpha is already notarized - a procedure necessary due Apple´s new developer restrictions.

Yes, both the beta as well as the more up-to-date snapshots from the development branch are signed and notarized and 64bit and run on Catalina.
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!
