Inkscape Exstension problems
Im having trouble with exstensions. When they come as an INX or PY file its easy to install them. But I get very confused with GZ and RAR files. They never work when I install them. Am I doing something wrong? Hey im a drawing guy not a computer guy.

Those are archive files, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archive_file.
You need to unpack them.
A common software used to extract them on Windows is winzip, I think - but others may know better.

Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!

I'm not sure if winzip will unpack a GZ or RAR. But 7Zip will. I like and would recommend 7Zip.
