This one is excellent, among other presented recently - but, are they available in some of the devs and if so, where those devs could be found? I`d like to give it a try.

Hi Maestral, thanks for the feedback. You need to compile it from the branch link.

Sweet! I've wanted a filleting tool since the .3x days. You're doing some really fine work. Thank-you.

Nice lpe!
It's about time?
http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=13819
Looking at the video, at the end -from 10:26- there seems to be something to improve for the use.
As circles are made up of four nodes (and maybe more in development versions?) when converting them to paths,
it would be nice to have more nodes added by the lpe, preferably at horizontal and vertical extreme points.
For letter designing, and better hinting at the end.
Maybe then the new curved parts would appear more circular too?

Dont understand well, not english.
But filleting-chamfer Knots go only on cusp nodes. In open paths no knots at start and end.
More circular broke the tangent from the original curve.
Here are some pics about is generated the curve:

The curve oscilating point is now fixed with the algoritm of Cale Gibbard explained here: http://launchpadlibrarian.net/12692602/rcp.svg.
Thanks for pointing the bug.
Also still have problem with fixed distances in cubic lines, because i coulden't calculate a point at a size inside, because the time of the curve is altered by the curvature.
There is now a inverse fillet button. And the UX is improved... I update a new video if can fix the "fixed size" problem.
Bye.

Hi.

Here is how it would produce more accurate rounded corners:

I have no idea how these could be implemented though.

I,m fine with the Cale Gibbard algoritm. The problems using SVGEliptical arcs become me crazy a short time ago, Also don`t understand your second Idea.

Thanks for the feedback, Jabier.

Pretty sad not to be able to try out all the wonderful work you're doing.... since brainless stopped making the windows builds. Still, it looks great!

Hi Druban, thanks for the feedback. But this is a separated branch than bspline+spirolive, so need another build. I also dont do a build for debian like bspline.

I just have updated my Inkscape from inkscape.dev/stable PPA to 0.92. And I can't find this path effect! Is it exsist in PPA version, or removed? How I can get it?

Its available in this build:
Inkscape_0.91+devel_64bit_r14851

Get it here (no need to install, its like a portable):

It hasn't made it into 0.92, because it had issues that couldn't be resolved before the release.
It is, however, available in any trunk builds you can find for your system. There is a second ppa for trunk:
https://launchpad.net/~inkscape.dev/+ar ... untu/trunk (but it has no current build for 16.04 Ubuntu, because of a dependency issue).
Something doesn't work? - Keeping an eye on the status bar can save you a lot of time!
