Where is the object manager window

Postby batata003 » Tue Mar 15, 2016 11:23 pm

Hi, on COREL there is a window on the right that shows the OBJECT MANAGER where I can see all th objects inserted on the document, I can hide them and group them in layers. Where do I need to click to show this object manager in inkscape?

Or, to be more verbose: There is no object manager in the current Inkscape release (0.91). The next release, however, features an object dialog, that may do what you need. You can test this functionality if you use the development version, which is linked from the lower part of this page:

Thank you so much guys. So there is no way to see a list of all the objects in the page? Sometimes one object is behind another and we may "lose" it, it there is some sort of list anywhere I could easily find the objects. Do you think there is at least some button that shows all the objects places on the page?

The XML editor can help and the outline mode.

If you are concerned about hidden objects, try the outlines only display mode (Ctrl+5 on the numpad to change between display modes).

In version 0.91.2 it's at Object > Objects.
Win 7/10, Inkscape 0.92.2
