I know that we are limited to 50 mb worth of attachment space, and I'm trying to figure out how close I am to it. The earliest one shown in my control panel, under Manage Attachments, is July 2009. Since you first enabled attachments in Nov. 2008 (viewtopic.php?f=27&t=1904) it seems that I must be very close to the limit, or possibly have gone over it. But I don't really know how this forum works.

I'm guessing that after someone reaches 50 mb, their 1st attachment gets automatically deleted (or however many needed to allow the new attachment). Is there any notification when that happens? I don't see any indication on the page with the list of attachments, as to how much space I've used, or how much is left, or if any have been deleted. It could be that I haven't reached the limit yet, and that July 2009 was the first attachment I ever made. I've really tried to avoid using attachments, as much as possible. So it's entirely possible that's the first one I made.

But anyway, if I'm getting close to the limit, I'd like to be able to go through and delete any that are no longer necessary. Or perhaps I would want to upload some elsewhere, and insert or link to them instead, via edit (at least the image files.....which they are probably mostly image files). Is there any way to know how much space I've used, or how much is left?
