Postby PotionPhoenix » Mon Apr 14, 2014 3:12 pm

Through tutorials and talking to people and spending a lot of time playing with nodes, ect. I have gotten this far and I feel like its just not enough and its not "3d" like I see everyone else making. I need help with this and I need to know how to do it. Please?

The shape of the head is stumping me too, i just needs tweaking :)

I dont know what file type would you would need to help. Just say the word and I can get you the right file :)

Hmm I'm not sure what style you are after.
You could use gradients for a cheap 3D effect, but it would appear less professional.
Maybe a cartoon-like character would look more appealing, with no gradients or blurring used.

And even it would make sense to start sketcing on paper.

Check out Dillerkind's posts, he knows the in and outs well of drawing characters, and posted some good tips here and there.
