I'm having an issue closing paths (required for Easel, a simple CNC web app).
I am new to Inkscape and can draw the shape I want but I am obviously not doing it correctly.
I may be wrong but it seems that if I draw with th. line tool, it seems to close paths easy enough as it's all in one flow
However, if I try to use the bezier curve it causes me problems as I am breaking the flow - if that makes sense.
The file is here: https://www.transfernow.net/files/?utm_ ... content=en
Hoping somebody can help.

Re: Closing paths
Select the "Group" and do ungroup and all segments are highlighted, change to Node-tool instantly, draw a rectangle around the whole knife shape - every node is now selected - now click "Join selected Nodes" from the tool bar and you´ll get closed paths on 5 objects - you can merge these by "combining" with Path-> Combine (cmd+K) - Done.

Re: Closing paths
When you have finished drawing your shape, you can click on the other end node to close.
Another option would be to use the auto-close feature, which you get when you finish a path by pressing Shift + Enter.
