I really, really like the new little introduction thing at the top! Nice work!

But I also really, really dislike the extra boxes to the right. They make the whole index look cramped, not to mention inconsistent with the other parts of the forum. Can't you just have a "Latest posts" and "Unanswered threads" button at the top like some forums do?

its not cramped for me... (maybe the 22inch Widescreen has something to do with that... )

Lucky you. (most of us still have non-wide screens, bleh)

Thanks very much for the feedback. I'm a big fan of the features on Opera's forum and wanted to replicate many of them here. The first post in a topic has been made more distinguished and your own posts have been highlighted so you can easily see where you've replied. I also made the link to the first unread post in a topic more obvious.

I'm glad you like the intro. I felt something for unregistered users was in order to briefly explain what Inkscape was.

I purposely replaced the links to active and unanswered posts in favour of what will be a short list on the home page. I actually feel the formum list on phpBB is a little bulky and carries too much unnecessary detail. What resolution is your monitor?

I would appreciate any feedback or opinions others might have about the recent changes.
