I am trying to install the extension
https://github.com/giacmir/Inkscape-JPE ... -extension
I have copied both files to the extensions folder but the extension is not appearing where it says it will in the extensions menu under export to jpg.
C:\Program Files\Inkscape\share\extensions
Am I doing something wrong or is the extension out of date for the current version of inkscape? I have tried it in windows and linux.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Re: Inkscape 'jpg export extension' not appearing in extensions menu
Thanks for the reply.
I'm using Inkscape 0.91 r13725
Should I downgrade to a previous version? It might mess up my files though, does anyone have it working in .91?

There is no reason to downgrade Inkscape to 0.48 for that particular extension (current git master isn't even compatible with Inkscape 0.48 anymore (due to most recent PR/commit) - I guess Maestral has an earlier checkout installed).
The extension does work ok with Inkscape 0.91.
Re: Inkscape 'jpg export extension' not appearing in extensions menu
Well, indeed...
When I said it works, I meant Export/ JPEG Export... does shows on Extensions drop down menu, but now, when I tried to deploy extension:
" Traceback (most recent call last):
File "jpegexport.py", line 29, in <module>
inkex.localize()
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'localize' "
p.s.
Just to add another "no" to downgrade. Converting .png to any other format shall not be that difficult nor feasible reason.
I`m using 0.48.5 since I work a lot with text, and doing the same in 0.91 I find almost unbearable.
