Help with text project/logo for anti-water pollution

Postby longlook » Fri Sep 04, 2009 1:20 pm

I am trying to re-create a little text logo that I have had on floating key chains for many years. The organization I work with uses them as a reminder to boaters that they are the solution to water pollution. The only problem is that I have minimal skill.

The logo is text in the shape of a fish. The exact wording is "you're the solution to water pollution" The "tion" at the end of solution and pollution are shared and make up the tail of the fish. Here are two photos of the keychain.

Here are two photos of the last keychain that I have.

If that didn't work... http://yfrog.com/3wphoto8gj

I would really appreciate any help... If you can tell me how to do it that would be great, if you want to make it that works too... Im just looking to get the little fishy swimming on a brochure and keychains again!

Is this sort of thing what you are looking for done mainly with technique in this TUTORIAL and then some manipulation of path and nodes.
Somebody who is more artistic than me could do a better job.
Will supply svg file if requested.

This is for a good thing...I had to cheat a little with coreldraw...the one part of inkscape that's missing, is the thing that gets it done...Hope these work out for you...can always rescale the vector.
