At the Boston hackfest Máirín Duffy suggested Inkscape participate in the Outreachy internship program. A vote in 2018 approved collecting of donations towards our participation, but funds in that amount were not raised.
The board wishes to move forward with Outreachy and is voting to donate from the Inkscape general fund to cover the expense of one student. There are additional administrative steps needed to register, this vote is simply to ensure the monetary requirements are satisfied.
