A majority vote of the current board members is required for the following matter.

Proposal:

You attention is required to vote on funding for the 2021 contributor’s t-shirt. This vote will allow Ryan Gorley to send out the gift codes which give a person a 100% off (including shipping) and which Ryan will be reimbursed at cost from the project.

Ballot:

1. Reimburse $800 or less for contributors from 2021, plus some 2020 contributors because this is our first time.
2. Reimburse $650 or less for ONLY 2021 contributors.
3. Do not proceed with this project.

The resolution is passed to authorize reimbursement of contributor t-shirt discount codes up to $800 to Ryan Gorley for the 2021 and 2020 contributors.

Background:

The process so far

• A design was created¹, edited and has broad community approval.
• Design was sampled and put onto a unisex and women’s sizes.
• Invitations were sent out to contributors to confirm their interest and shipping address to better assess costs.
• All respondents have been confirmed as contributors by team leads.
• Vote to fund the estimated costs + buffer (you are here)
• Codes sent out and t-shirts sent out directly to contributors from maker.

There are some respondents who have not contributed in 2021, but who did in 2020. Because this is the first one of these we’ve ever done, there was a consensus to put 2020 people into the vote for consideration.

The t-shirts work out at just over $20 each, including worldwide shipping. Which I think is a very good value for the project without any hidden cost problems. I’ve added a small buffer for uncertainty of about 5%.
