Attn Brynn,
fyi - Not sure if this is an incorrect link, but think it is incorrect. You may already be aware of this.
Easiest to just follow this - when you are in the forums, click on the beginner's forum.  Do not click on a thread.  Now, try to go back to the Main forum by clicking on the 'Help Using Inkscape' link near the top header.  Instead of taking you to the main forum page, it takes you to the Tutorials.

Hhm, how very strange.  Yes I see that, and I haven't noticed it before.  It looks like that happens for all the board categories.

I have an idea where it's coming from, but I can't try to fix it right now.  I'm just about to log off and get ready to go to a dentist appointment.  But I'll start working on it as soon as I'm logged back on (probably later tonight).

Thank you so much for letting me know about it!  I'll be back later tonight.  And meanwhile......well, I'm sure you can find another way to get where you're going, until I can sort it out.

Thanks again  :)

Edit
Btw, I routinely click on Forum, in that breadcrumbs pathway, so I know that works.  It also works to go back to the same board that way.  It's only the board category which is troublesome.  So maybe one of those will help you, until I can figure it out.

Yes, for  the board categories, that's why I wasn't sure if it was intentional.  I keep meaning to mention it, but couldn't figure out where to place the comment, then forgot.  There is no urgency.
Hope things go well at the dentist!

Yeah, this is the one biggest complaint I have about SMF software.  If you click on a category from the forum index page....well I can't remember what it does, but it doesn't open the category.  When I went to SMF support, to report what looks like a bug (I mean, who would expect clicking on a link for a category would not open the category) they told me it was not a bug.  I think I'll bug them about it again, now.   >:-(

Anyway, they have provided a mod, so that clicking on the category opens the catagory.  But apparently the mod only fixes clicking from the index page.  Either that, or there's a bug in the bug fixing mod.   :argh:

Well actually, I'll try reinstalling the mod, for a first step.

I've reported the bug:  https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=118299.msg3942646#msg3942646 in case anyone wants to follow.  I'm not sure if it will be a bug with the View Single Category mod or the Tiny Portal mod, but we'll see.

How frustrating!  oh well, you tried, we'll see what happens.  The first few times I thought I had clicked on the wrong thing, lol.
