Title: Stitch Sub Paths Problem
Post by: GlaciusAiezu on February 16, 2019, 12:33:28 AM
I'm attempting to do some abstract drawing and need to use the stitch sub paths as a path effect however the lines aren't showing what so ever. Below should be images of my current dilemma, I initially thought it was something to do with opacity and no fill but after searching for solutions I can't find anything that will help. I was hoping someone here would have the knowledge to help, which is much appreciated!

Have you tried adding a stroke color and width?

Hi, I managed to fix it. Turns out I had to combine them or something like that for the stitch paths to show up. But thanks for the help!

Oh, right... I see now that it says 'Group of...' in your screenshot. Sorry, I should have noticed - glad you found it out!

Out of curiosity, what is that 5th bar in your screenshot of Fill and Stroke dialog?  The one that goes from white to red to transparent?

I only have 4 bars   :-(

It's the broken additional color slider bug. Long gone in current Inkscape versions.

Oh right, I had forgotten about that :b1:!  Yes, an upgrade would be a good idea for GlaciusAiezu !
