Post by: ARDriver on November 12, 2018, 03:36:17 PM
Hello, When saving a svg to a png the file does not have a transparent background. any help would be greatly appreciated. Also effects like blur do not seem to work for png's. Thanks

Welcome to the forum!

The proper way to get a PNG with transparency is to use File menu > Export PNG.

Pay attention to the 4 buttons at the top of that dialog, and choose the appropriate area.  It sounds like that would probably be Page, but I don't have enough info to be sure.  Just ask, if you aren't sure  :)

(Cairo PNG is *not* a normal png file, that's why)
