Title: Keep nearest filter on raster objects

I hadn't updated Inkscape in about three years but just installed the latest on my new computer. (0.92 on Windows 10) I seem to remember that when I pasted a raster image (from Gimp for example) into my Inkscape document, when I zoomed in, it continued to appear pixelated (a nearest filter was used by Inkscape to render the raster object). I might be remembering this wrong. But now it renders it with a linear filter, which makes it look blurry when highly zoomed in. I want the "pixelation" behavior, where the object is rendered with a nearest filter. Is there an option for this?

Welcome to the forum!

When you import a raster image now, you should get a small dialog asking exactly how you'd like to import it.  If you want to still be able to see the pixels, as before, you need to choose Blocky (optimizeSpeed).
