Title: Bounding box after clip->set
Post by: Ravager on July 19, 2019, 07:22:24 PM
The size of the bounding box won't resize for the result of clip->set. It seems that the bounding box size is fixed to the size of object that is below the object that is settting. How do you change the bounding box so that the size fits nicely to the newly set object?

Known issue. I think it's fixed in the next Inkscape version, but not 100% sure. You can test here: https://inkscape.org/release/master/

Otherwise, you might want to  consider a path operation (boolean) to actually cut down the image.  Or possibly the Destructive Clip extension https://github.com/funnypolynomial/DestructiveClip  Although if you're clipping a raster image, those won't work.
