Hi Friends,
I've added a wide image in my signature (934 px wide). I'm curious if it messes up anyone's display of open topics?
If it causes your browser display to be stretched, would you let me know? I didn't realize it when I bought this computer, but apparently it has a pretty wide screen. (my first laptop) And I've seen some really small notebook computers.....which now, I guess the line between notebook computers and tablets is blurred to where it's hardly there anymore. But anyway, I'm curious.
Actually, I just realized -- I added the Inkscape logo to the IC logo the other day. But I just now noticed it seems to have stretched the browser for me, with an extra wide screen. So I can fix that in just a minute.

Hi,
It displays more-or less fine here.
There are some pixels off at the outline's intersections, with that highlight.
With the transparency it's a bit weird looking, as the intersections should appear darker if it's a continuous line.
Wondering why are you not using svg-s for this.
Anyone zooming in/out could get a sharper rendering.

That's a good idea to use the SVG! I'm generally in the habit of using PNGs or other rasters for the internet, because really, while most people can see them these days, there are still some browsers that aren't 100% on displaying SVGs. But I think I will take your advice, and use it, in this case.
Not sure about the intersections you mean. The original version is the vertical one on the home page, and I had to sort of re-do it for horizontal display. Now I forgot exactly how I did it the first time. I thought I got everything right, but not surprised if I didn't :lol:

Also, I was just looking at some of the alternate themes. It really looks different on the darker themes, like CC. Also realized I need to do quite a bit of tweaking on some of the alternate themes!

Oohh....well it still won't display perfectly when zoomed, because the fill is a JPG pattern. But I'll give it a test, for sure :)

Well, I can't upload it just yet. I'm in the middle of a long download. (I have a fairly slow internet connection, so the website backups take some time.) But as soon as it finished, I can upload it.
