Title: Trace Bitmap Works ONLY Once

Hi everybody, this is my first post here. Sorry to start with something off-topic like that but see, for some reason I can't use the Trace Bitmap dialog a second time. I can launch a fresh instance of Inkscape and then use it on an image (not vector or path, I know the difference I think lol) and it will work fine, but if I try to do it again on another image, it won't work. I tried recording a video of what happens (both icons in the video are originally raster images that I then proceeded to try to convert to paths). Thanks in advance!

(P.S. I tried looking this up and I tried clearing preferences but nothing has worked so far, it is really frustrating)

Have you checked if there is a bug report for this? Did the update to the ppa version help?

Welcome to the forum!

Double-check your Inkscape version, please?  This was a bug a few versions back, but was fixed.

Hhm, I'm actually still using the version you report, 0.92.3.  But I can't reproduce it.  Although I'm on Windows, so that might be the difference.
