Title: Letter Formation

I want help with this task. I want the letter A to take the place of the green object. *Stretch it* Please help me.

That's going to be hard to do with Inkscape.  To my knowledge, it will be trial and error, to get it right.

You could try Envelope Deformation LPE, or maybe Bend LPE. 

First convert the A to path.  Then maybe use the side handles and stretch it straight out wider.  Then try Bend LPE?

I'm not sure how an A could be made into that type of curve at all... Maybe you should draw something up manually first to get an impression of the viability of your plan first....
