Title: Inkscape extension for polargraph (aka vertical plotter)

I've been using the Eggbot extension and recently got interested in making a polargraph or vertical plotter.  I'd like to use the EiBot board from the Eggbot to control the two stepper motors to move a pen around and the servo to raise/lower the pen.  I don't have the ability to write an Inkscape extension for the polargraph and wondered whether anyone else has and/or knew where to find it.
