Hi Friends,
Inkscape has been accepted as a mentoring organization for Google Summer of Code (https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/) 2016.
If you're a student interesting in participating, please find links to developers' ideas for projects, on this page (https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com/organizations/6010720831406080/).
Applications will be accepted starting March 14, 2016. But you'll want to be thinking about what you might want to work on now, contacting the development community, and discussing it already.
