Title: Adding Colors ???
Post by: garystevens834 on September 12, 2018, 10:22:32 PM
I kinda new to Inkscape but I was wondering if its possible to add colors to the one there already (default)? The one's there are good but there are some many other that would be nice to be able to use.

Thanks,

Guessing you are referring to the palette at the bottom.
Good news: there are already more than one palette available *by default*:

Other than that, check this topic (http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15227) for more info.

Have you learned how to create your own custom colors, using Object menu > Fill and Stroke dialog?  You're not stuck with using only the colors that are showing on either the default palette, or any palette.  Using Fill and Stroke dialog, you can configure any color you want (using a few different criteria).

Or, besides the palettes Lazur showed, you can also install new palettes.  Any palette file with GPL extension can be used in Inkscape.  Here are instructions for installing:  https://inkscape.org/en/learn/faq/#how-install-new-extensions-palettes-document-templates-symbol-sets-icon-sets-etc

Making your own palette might be too advanced for you currently, but I think I could find a tutorial, if you wanted to try it.
