I'm looking to help me with learning how to use Inkscape. I've purchased one already called "Inkscape Beginner's Guide". I found that this was very helpful in just a few of the basic of Inkscape. I know that a lot of people use YouTube to watch tutorials but I like to use the books instead. I found that it to be a headache watching these videos. You have to constantly pause it or start over. Anyway if you know of any book out there that was helpful to you please let me know.

Please check if the copyright notice and info about contributors has been kept if these are indeed the same documents - if that's the case, it's fine to sell it, but still weird. I'm one of those who wrote it.

Did you ever find Help menu > Inkscape Manual ? You can buy that one too, if you want, although it's free online.
I don't know of any current books. There's one circa version 0.48 that I could recommend, but it's so outdated, I probably would not recommend now.
What about tutorials? There are lots of text tutorials around. The Home tab of this website has a huge listing of tutorials, and most of the time tells which kind it is (text or video). If it doesn't say what kind it is, then it's a text tutorial.

I bought the book "Inkscape Beginner's Guide" through Amazon. It's published through Packt Publishing and if I remember right it did come with 2 other free Inkscape help[ guides. I just need to find them on my PC. I looked through the credits and the author is Bethany Hiitola. Packt has a few other's but I'm sure there's other out there I just need to find them. i do have another qwuestion through. How can I reset Inkscape to its default settings? Some how I changed something in the "Fill and Stroke" and now if I try to make a circle it comes up looking a backwards Pack Man. I've tried changing the numbers but I can't get it right. If you can tell me how to fix this would be great. Again thanks for everything.

First, select that pacman circle.
Next, switch to the Circle tool :et:
Finally, look on the control bar (the first row of buttons and settings above the horizontal ruler) and click on this button: :we: (It should be the last button on the right.)
