Title: wont install/run

tried all three ways to install for win 10. app store version installed but won't run.

Welcome to the forum!

Personally, I would avoid the App Store version, unless you don't have any other choice.  We can help you troubleshoot whatever went wrong with the other 2 versions, if you like.

Note that the first time you open Inkscape after installing it, it can take up to 5 minutes to open.  Or more, if you have a lot of fonts.  So first I would suggest opening the version which you're sure was installed, and give it a few minutes to open.

Let us know what happens, and we'll go from there  :)

Also, please tell us which download from the website you used on which exact operating system. And then explain what 'it won't run' actually means. Does it install? Does it appear in your task manager's program list?
