Title: Importing an svg file into fontforge reveals odd detail
Post by: Fauveboy on April 01, 2019, 05:42:25 AM
Im not sure what I need to change from within my inkscape session to change the letter "B". Its meant to stylistically match the letter "A" & "C". In the first screen shot here you can see what I indend the "B" to look like on the left in inkscape and to the right is the result in fonforge.

What is happening many thanks?

Welcome to the forum!

We might have some members who have used Fontforge before, who could answer that without seeing the SVG file.  For myself, I would need to see the SVG file, to investigate.

I mean, it looks like that B is not made as a single solid object.  It seems to be quite oddly made, but I can't tell for sure.

Did you make the B yourself?  Or was it downloaded or imported from somewhere else?

Would you please share the SVG file?
