Title: Unable to export PNG image

I am following a tutorial in the Udemy website. The instructor is a bit slow with many other questions and haven't replied to mine. I'm using Windows 64 bit and Inkscape 0.92. Following the instructor's steps, I have exported the PNG image using the export selection only but i still get white spaces around the image. I also tried File, selection and drawing and the white space still appears. Is there a problem with Inkscape?

Welcome to the forum!

I'm not sure what you mean.  Do you mean that you don't want a white background?  Or else can you point to the white spaces?

Maybe if you can share the file, we can check what causes the white.
