Title: Object disapears when creating pdf
Post by: jongjong on March 07, 2017, 05:22:41 AM
Hi,
I have a very strange problem (to me at least)
In a layout i have 4 objects. When I save it as pdf for printing, two of the objects disapear on the pdf. Anyone knows why?
I have this in a bigger project, just copied the two objects from it. I attached the file so you can check and try.

Thanx for your help and advise. :ty1:

Hi.

That is a known issue with the cairo inkscape uses to generate pdf-s. Can't point to the bug report, but most possibly there is one and already tested on different versions -likely an older build (and an older cairo) didn't have that problem but that's just a guess.

It is the very thin strokes that results in the objects disappearing. If you add a stroke wider than the current 0,065 px it can work.

Wow - ok. Good to know it's a bug. I thought I was doing something wrong.

I had to try 100 different sizes, with 5.923px it suddenly worked.
Phuuu
