Title: How to change a selected shape to a different shape
Post by: kjakeb on November 20, 2017, 12:52:10 PM
I have a bunch of circles in my Inkscape project that I want to change to squares. After I "Select Same," how can I change them all to squares? Thanks in advance!

Draw squares, adapt their size (perhaps using Edit -> Paste size after copying a circle of the desired size), and use the Align and Distribute dialog (Object -> Align + Distribute) to swap the squares' positions with the circles.

Arhhh  :duh: i'm sorry man but i think you may have to redo it.

Inkscape has this really nifty function on the rectangle tool that rounds out the corners + combine that with its clone function and you will have got it cracked but at this stage, it might be quicker to just redo it.  :uhoh:
