Title: Topless letters
Post by: Hymer on May 09, 2019, 04:19:44 AM
I make a logo and use the type Coneria Script Demo. When the text is straight, the top of some letters are cropped.  :-S
If I rotate it, the top appears. I should like to use it without rotation, but with the top included. How can I get it?

As far as I know, when part of the text appears to be cut off, indicates that the font is not well made.  Inkscape tends to be picky about fonts, and might not display some fonts, which other programs can display ok.

I have one font that behaves like this, and I find that when I convert it to paths, the whole text is displayed.  So if that's acceptable, that might work.  Or for this particular font for me, if I move it around on the page, at some points the whole font shows, and other places it doesn't.  So moving it might help too.

Or maybe someone else has another solution?

(I can't test your font because I don't have it installed.  But you can try those things.)
