Hi Moini. The idea is store a copy of the path probabily with the clone original LPE in DEFS section but with unseted fill and stroke color. After this, clone it and make it insensitive to not allow editing, but is a fast idea, i need a closer look. I think they speak about clones, but have problems...

@Moini!!! Is in my TODO list. not sure how to handle. Not sure if there is a spec in SVG2 to follow or we need to use insensitive clones.
