Re: Weird edges on shapes
I can, it's an extension that a user Simarilius made and then I modified it to meet my needs. It lists the node coordinates of a path. I couldn't figure out to make it process data correctly in 0.91, but I got it do it pretty consistently in 0.48. I know it all just comes down to understanding the d...

Re: Weird edges on shapes
Mostly off topic: Unrelated to this problem, but personally I've been thinking of reverting to 0.48 myself. Inkscape's recent development has added vital features which require much more technical expertise than I'll ever have. It's getting to the point where complete novices can't pick up Inkscape...

Re: Weird edges on shapes
It doesn't happen in 0.48; and I can even just load the same svg 0.91 saved file in 0.48 and the problems are gone, even the existing rectangles in that svg file that had problems are normal in 0.48. Guess I'll go back to using 0.48 then!

Re: Weird edges on shapes
Looks your transformations are set preserved instead of optimized in the preferences (Shift+Ctrl+P/behavior/transforms). It was the opposite. They were set to optimized. Changing to preserved made the lines have same width all around the object. Now that issue is solved thank you! But the problem w...

Weird edges on shapes
Inkscape version 0.91. The edges of shapes have begun being "distorted", if you take a look at the image below. These are all new objects created from "create squares" (F4) and "Create circles"(F5). Why are the edges distorted like that? The vertical edge has larger wid...

Is there a way to instantly set all selected nodes to their respective closes integer x,y positions?
Is there a way to instantly set all selected nodes to their respective closest integer x,y positions? Say I have a path with for example 100 nodes that all are placed at fractional x,y positions (like 2.345, 4.569 etc) and want the nodes to all be placed at integer positions (like 2, 5 etc) then as ...

Change color of "Edit path by nodes" selection outline?
The color of the "Edit path by nodes" (F2) selection outline is black which means that when I use a black background I can't see the out outlined select area. How do I change the color of the "Edit path by nodes" selection box? The normal selection box of "Mark and transfrom...

Re: Error "printemf::begin at EMRHEADER" when attempting to copy an object
Can you test the fix version in the bug tracker, perhaps? https://bugs.launchpad.net/inkscape/+bug/1661593 jazzynico asked for someone to test, but hasn't gotten a reply since February. I could but.... seeing as the error happens on average every 14 days (but could take longer, sometimes it's a wee...

Error "printemf::begin at EMRHEADER" when attempting to copy an object
From time to time I get this weird error (see screenshot attached) when attempting to copy an object. The only fix I have found is to restart my PC. Restarting Inkscape, loading another document, loading a new document... none of it works. Only restarting my computer works. From memory this probably...

Re: Game scene wip
I only know some beginner Java and Python, so I use a program called Gamemaker. It simplifies the process a lot and enables users to make games with little or even no programming skills. It's well suited for smaller games, especially 2D games. It's also very useful for prototyping a game, a basic pr...

Re: Game scene wip
Thank you BlueKnight!
I'm thinking about having both a helicopter and a plane. Perhaps helicopter will have more maneuverability but use more fuel, while plane will be faster and use less fuel but with less maneuverability.
