To be even more specific: If I create a line with :tool_rectangle: I can get rid of the fill and I have an outline which the cutter will accept. If I create a line with :tool_pen: I can thicken the stroke to look like the object I created with the :tool_pen: but I can't get an outline from it. The e...

Thanks, 'converting the lpe back to a path by pressing Ctrl+Shift+C.' Was a good suggestion. But though I could print the results I can't export them for cutting. Clarification: I realize that in Knot the original path is retained so 'path to object' might not be the best sollution. I suppose what I am really after is a "new object from visible" which would turn what I see on the sceen into a new object(s).

For making stencils the Knot LPE is a very useful tool. I can chose the appropiate stroke width, print out the results and use scissors - great. But if I need to send the results to a 2d cutter the stroke width is a no-go. I need an outline. One sollution is to export the results of the Knot LPE as ...
