Re: Cutting out schapes.
Hey guys, @brynn: It's true what you say, about the first part you write of what a groups is. But when the tyre is 1 group, as i want it to be, than when selected it doesn't work to convert that into a path. The photo is a bitmap trace, maybe that's why it doesn't convert? @tylerdurden: Excuse me but...

Re: Cutting out schapes.
Hi theozh, I took the tyre away and used a circle like you mentioned. Than it works. I can put the tyre in the picture than and group it to make it one i guess, right? The only strange thing is that if i want to do it straight it doesn't work? If i click on the tyre, it says group of 1 object. Than ...

Re: Cutting out schapes.
Hi brynn, Can you see it here? http://imgh.us/Question_2.png What i want is to have the tyre and what's inside of the tyre as an image. Which means that the corners more or less of the image which come out of the tyre should be removed. The strange thing is that i want to change the object to a path...

Cutting out schapes.
Hello,
I'm new so still struggling a lot. But i want to cut out some picture around a tyre.
I thought i could put an attachment to show it. But tit says my attachment is too large? It's a .svg file?
I try to copy and paste but that doesn't work.
Anyone?
Thanks!

Re: Tiled clones
Hey,
@Raspi: yes something like that but other kind of blocks.
@tylerdurden: that's exactly what i've been doing! But it seems to make clones around another centerpoint??
Maybe i should try a new page and try it again.

Re: Tiled clones
Hey, @Theozh: If i try your first option, the center jumps onto a corner of the block and the block starts rotating around it's own corner. At your 2nd option, i set the angle at 90degr in Per column and Rows, column at 1 x 4. This just to try and make it work. But it makes clones at his own positio...
