The recent household appliance spam is a little entertaining. I mean, I totally wandered onto the Inkscape forums to research kitchen sinks. :) I think a riddle or picture CAPTCHA is a good idea; unless the spammers really are recent un-employees pushing pocket spam on their blackberrys in a Starbuc...

I seriously admire your work ethic, to do all those lines while keeping an artistic edge all the way through . . . you should post some of your other work here.

Why the width-adjusted object instead of an image? A simple 512x512 or smaller image would probably be just as fine for a low-detail design (probably better, actually, as it looks strange on my 1920x1200 widescreen).

Looks like win to me. It's slick but not gaudy and obtrusive, as well as having a notable symbol.
