Re: Transparency Problem
Hi All
My apologies for not getting back sooner. I was in a field and not able to contribute. Thanks for the suggestions and I will try them out. The silhouettes all vary and I am using the ideas to build my skills.

Transparency Problem
Hi
I understand how to remove a background. However I want to create a layer where the image is transparent. This will be done in order to create word art. Does anyone have any ideas.
Version 0.91 Windows 10
Thanks in advance
Alan

Font groups
Hi
I am currently working on a number of projects which require me to reuse the same fonts over and over. At present I am having to keep scrolling through the fonts but would like to create a group if possible so I can access them easily. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Re: New Palette
Hi Thanks for the reply. I put the palette in inkscape/shared/palettes With regard to the names I have tried to create a totally new palette and I have tried to alter an installed palette while only changing the colour codes. The later has meant the removal from the list of available palettes. I hav...

New Palette
Hi In the past I have created a colour palette in Gimp and moved it across without any problem. However, I needed to edit the palette and save as a separate name. My problem is that whenever I have saved the palette it is not showing up in the available palettes. I have checked the location etc but ...
