Cutting a shape in half
Hi
I want to be able to draw a shape, such as a tree leave and then cut it in half and be able to use both halves seperately, if you see what I mean. i.e. I don't want one half to disappear. How do I do that?

Rings of Saturn
Hi I am trying to figure out how to draw the rings around Saturn and am having problems with half of the ring being across the front of the planet and the other half of the ring being behind the planet. I know this will be an easy one, but am a complete novice to Inkscape and indeed computer graphic...
